The Collective Effect
Support towards excellence
Counsellors who are part of regular supervision and communities of practice are better able to navigate ethical concerns and other complexities. In a constantly changing profession, they are able to stay updated around best practice in clinical and business skills and reach their full potential as leaders in the mental health field.
Less isolation, more togetherness
Counsellors in private practice face significant isolation. Resolve is uniquely designed to meet the need for independence - most counsellor members are independent practitioners and private practice owners - as well as the need for supportive community with regular supervision, peer support, socials, and group training and conference attendance.
Diversity is our strength
Collective members are gathered around the same core values of trauma-informed practice excellence and social justice, but have great variety in lived experience, the populations and issues they serve, as well as modalities they use. This purposeful complementarity with an underlying fundamental respect, increases collaboration and access to diverse knowledges and networks.
Specialized supervision and supports
Our goal is to develop leaders in the mental health space who will impact their communities, the field, and the world. Our supervisors, lead therapists, and consultants have expertise ranging from Trauma processing (EMDR, IFS, Somatic), Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy/Integration, Couple/Family/Child therapies (Gottman, EFT, Play therapy), Group therapy, and Career, Business development, and Organizational Consulting.
